Excellent blank

I have used the SJ843 for several inshore builds, primary target being redfish. They are an awesome blank with plenty of backbone. I have landed several redfish over 30 inches, the largest pushing 40. This blank with a 3000 size reel and 20 lb braid handled them just fine. I highly recommend them for an inshore saltwater rod.

Nice blank but wrong action

Fast and on time shipping. Very nice blanks for the mhx but got sent the wrong action. Was suppose to get a medium light but got a medium. Not complaining just will work with it. But to wish it was a medium light instead. But yes it is a very nice and light and sensitive rod overall. Thanks mudhole

Poor finish

I bought the blank in white. There is several areas on the blank that has a rough finish and there is black showing through the white.
