Shipping costs are automatically provided and/or calculated at checkout based on the customer’s chosen service option. Below are the shipping rates available to Mud Hole retail customers:

Your order may ship using a combination of shipping carriers. For orders qualifying for free shipping, we select the most economical shipping method. 2-Day and Overnight shipping for the USA & Canada is available; orders must be placed before 12pm EST (Mon-Fri) for same-day dispatch.
Backorders
There is no extra cost for shipping backordered items; we use the most economical shipping method.
Shipping Methods
Blank shipments may be received by customers in one of three packaging materials, depending on the overall order contents and the most appropriate packaging to ensure protection of the rods blank(s). Rod blanks measuring 60 inches or longer are shipped with special protection for a fee of $9.99. Rod blanks 8 feet and up are shipped at the rated cost displayed at checkout. All oversize and expedited shipping fees are determined and displayed at check out prior to placing your order.
Mud Hole offers free shipping for domestic retail orders over $99 in the contiguous United States. Free shipping does not apply to the shipment of rod blanks measuring 60 inches or longer and oversized orders. Exclusions may apply.
Delivery Times
Delivery estimates provided by our shipping partners are as follows:
- Economy: 5-10 business day
- Ground: 3-5 business days
- 2-Day: 2 business days
- Overnight: 1 business day
Estimates are based on standard business day (Mon-Fi), and actual delivery may take longer due to carrier and/or processing delays. For superior tracking information consider upgrading to Ground, 2-Day, or Overnight service. A guaranteed delivery window is provided by our shipping carriers for 2-Day and Overnight service.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 24-48 hours. Processing during holidays and high-volume periods may take up to 72 hours. Add Rush Processing to your order for $4.99 to skip the queue and guarantee same-day processing or your money back.
Oversized Packages
Oversized items may incur additional handling charges, which will be calculated and displayed automatically at checkout.
Fishing Rods & Rod Blanks
Fishing rods and rod blanks measuring 60 inches or longer are shipped with special protection for a fee of $9.99. Rods and rod blanks 8 feet and up are shipped at the rated cost displayed at checkout. All oversize and expedited shipping fees are determined and displayed at check out prior to placing your order.

Restricted & Hazmat Items
Due to regulatory requirements, certain items can only be shipped via Ground to the contiguous 48 states and Canada, and are not eligible for expedited shipping. A physical address is needed for delivery.
Drop Ship Items
Drop-shipped items ship directly from the manufacturer, and are shipped free to the lower 48 United States. For shipments outside of this region, please contact us for a shipping quote prior to purchase. These items are clearly marked on product detail pages and in the shopping cart.
Track Your Order
All orders ship with a tracking number. If you believe your package is lost, please call us toll-free at (866)-790-7637.
Signature Upon Delivery
Some orders require a signature upon delivery, particularly those over $500. If unable to sign, please notify us when placing your order.
Promotional Offers
We occasionally have special offers. Unless otherwise stated, these apply only to retail sales and may require a minimum order. Oversized items may still incur additional handling fees.
International Shipments
Duties & Taxes
Duties and taxes are not included in the total and will be due upon receipt. Your order may need custom clearance for delivery.
Out-Of-Area Delivery Charges
Deliveries to remote locations may be subject to additional charges. A list of these locations can be provided upon request.
