This fly rod blank is GREAT!! Really nice looking and casts as good as any of the top of the line fly rods.
Always happy with color series fishing rods. Have had great success with the color series regular fishing poles, this was my first attempt at a fly fishing pole. Looks great and had good feel. Have caught a few sunfish in my pond so far and happy with cast and retrieve. Would prefer that it was two piece instead of four for better feel. Fish a store bought pole and then switch to a color series and the difference is incredible. Love them all.
The CRB color fly blanks are a great value. And if you order the full kit everything you need to assemble comes with it. Other than epoxies and thread. These blanks make exceptional entry level rods. I’ve been very happy with the results and casting ability of these rods. I’ve just ordered several more. Building some to donate to Casting for Recovery.
