JUNK

I've had 3 of these things. They all failed within a year. These are a crappy Chinese piece of junk. Mudhole - find something else to offer. These are hurting your reputation. Mudhole was kind enough to replace one of them so good on ya MH. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Never Worked

Punched mine in July of this year along with the Tent . Didn’t need it until this fall as my basement cools down to just below 70 degrees. When i plugged it in the small fan kicked on but the device never even got warm so to say I was disappointed is an understatement.

Horrible Documentation

My garage isn't heated (can get below 50 deg) so I thought this, plus the rod drying tent would be a way for me to build rods in the winter. I received the heater today and I'm pretty disappointed. The documentation is useless. I thought we were past the horrible English translations. Here's an example: "1. Open the machine support, according to the correct way to put." The documentation says it has over-heat protection (I won't torture anyone with their translation) but nothing says at what temperature it shuts off.
Also, the photo shows the heater sitting at about a 45 deg angle. The problem is that the power cord plugs into the bottom of the heater so it has to be positioned closer to horizontal (I'd guess about 30 deg).
I'll try it this week to see if it shuts off at a reasonable temperature ( around 75 deg) or if I have to monitor it my self (unplug it/plug it in) to keep it from getting too hot or too cold for the rod.
