I’ve use these reel seats on a number of rods where the client wants the seats to match the thread work.
I’ve had no problems with them. Lock the reel in. Don’t come lose or break

Have been using these on my last few builds and they are just great. When I first started using them had a problem with the yellow ones, using a Shimano 2000 series reel the foot on one side of the reel would not fit under the hold down. Ordered a replacement, same thing. Otherwise they seem to be good, I am satisfied with the product.
