Awesome BFS trout blank!

This blank makes an awesome BFS trout rod. I have it paired with a Calcutta Conquest BFS HG reel with 6# hi vis mono and a fluorocarbon leader. I used a 7" cork rear grip and 2" fore grip and the CRB micro elite casting guide set. Based on another rod builders recommendations I used 9 guides plus the tip top. This might seem like overkill but I can easily cast a 3.0 gram spoon over 100'. I believe the light weight of these guides helps preserve the rod action to be able to cast sub 3.0 gram lures but still handle 16"+ trout without feeling under gunned.
If you're looking to build a BFS trout rod you won't be disappointed with this blank.
