Like the product, just getting back into rod building!
I had a custom rod built a few years ago on one of these blanks, and I recently decided to dabble in this hobby myself. Got three of these on clearance, and almost finished building my first rod. This is basically a "practice" build for me using a seat/handle kit from eBay.
These Bushido blanks seem to be true to their designation as to power/action. A winner!
Got two of these rods since they were half off. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Just finished building one and it feels awesome. Can't wait to use it on my next fishing trip!
I've purchased 3 of these blanks in various sizes but by far my favorite is the 8-17...I was able to land a large snook in-between heavy structure fighting him in and out of pilings..I thought I would have gotten smoked but paired with a 2500 diawa saltiest and the American tackle forged high frame guides this rod absolutely rocked..I was able to turn the fish on command and I even had to pass my buddy the rod from under the dock to land the fish on the other side..they did not disappoint with this blank
