The YakRods Y-HD TETHER™ is the kayak angler’s safeguard against lost rods. As part of the patented Magnetic Tether System™, this lightweight, low-profile tether connects seamlessly to any rod equipped with a Tethered End Cap™, keeping it secure until you need it most. Built with a 16 lb quick-release magnet and a UV-treated, PVC-coated steel wire cord, it expands smoothly from 34" to 60" for freedom of movement while fishing. Finished with a marine-grade carabiner and anti-rust crimps, the Y-HD TETHER™ is made to withstand harsh sun, salt, and repeated use without tangling, snapping, or corroding.
