Inaccurate

I agree with everyone who said it was inaccurate! Mine is off buy 1/4 of an inch at 4 feet and I figured out what happened. You CANNOT pull it when you’re putting it down because the material will stretch, and that’s what throw everything off. It is nice to have on the bench but I have not ordered another one yet to replace it.

Guide ring size wayyyy off

Extremely irritated as I write this, after having to order a replacement guide for a friends rod for the third time because I assumed the guide ring size chart was actually drawn to size. The guide is cheap but the shipping cost @$5.99 and another week that my buddy won’t have his favorite rod is what’s got me upset. Becoming more and more unimpressed with crb’s gimmicky tools. Here’s a pic of a size ten guide held up to sizing chart

Yep, inaccurate.

Agree with Jeff. Mine was off a little more than .25 in in 47 inches. A little more than double that in 8 ft. Oh well, it's a fishing rod tool. Not building fine furniture.

Hey Rick, we appreciate the feed back and we will be having someone from our customer service department reach out to you shortly. -Mud Hole Custom Tackle

Adhesive tape measure

The only problem I found was it come's in two pieces . This two piece design requires an overlap or cutting of the tape at the 4 foot mark . However it fits the wrapper base perfectly.

Inaccurate tape?

Thanks for the heads-up. Checked mine before I applied it to my power wrapper base. It was dead-on the entire length. Glad I checked though; measure twice, cut once...
