The beauty of nylon thread, is its blending and translucent capabilities when rod finish is applied. If you wish to maintain the color as seen on the spool, a light coat of color preserver is all that is needed.

Great thread. Consistent and doesn’t untwist like some. Color is fine until application of epoxy. Went much darker than anticipated.
I never in a million years thought I would build a fishing rod. Mud hole was the perfect place for me to start. Why I started……I don’t know. Using top quality materials like pro wrap thread made my adventure easier. When I didn’t do it correctly, I knew it was me, not the material. I tore it out, and started again. Now, I’m doing everything I wanted to be able to do building rods. Pro wrap is my only choice.
