The beauty of nylon thread, is its blending and translucent capabilities when rod finish is applied. If you wish to maintain the color as seen on the spool, a light coat of color preserver is all that is needed.

ProWrap is an amazing product for wrapping eye guides and Designer work on rods!
I really like how the color gets darker when I coat the threads without adding color preserver. It also seem to make the wraps much more durable
