Titanium Performance at Stainless Prices
Corrosion Control (CC/BC) Now Available!. Fuji guide frames are now offered with a new corrosion control matte finish that provides up to 7 times more corrosion control resistance than standard Stainless Steel - and look amazing! The new CC finish is available exclusively in all K-Series SiC, Alconite, and the all new FazLite rings.
K-Series guide trains of all kinds have a few things in common. The specialized KB Guide, for example, is used as the choke point guide and mid-section casting guide in every K-Series guide train specified. And, all KB’s are followed by the standard KT running guide, a strong, lightweight guide that pairs perfectly with other K-Series. The KB and KT are listed here, and will be repeated as guides used in KR Concept rods as well.
Documented high stress in mid-rod areas led Fuji to develop the big-footed KB "belly" guide. It is indispensable in taming torque stresses in the mid-rod section of casting rods. Fuji recommends up to 3 KB guides on MH and H power casting rods.
Use as a choke guide on spinning and up to 3 on casting rods.
Above size 6 there is no need for the KB, the KT foot is large enough.
Fuji Corrosion Control®
An Economical Solution to Longer Lasting Guide Trains
Fuji’s introduction of it’s proprietary Corrosion Control™ treatment marks a turning point in the evolution of low maintenance stainless guide frames. In tests carried out by an independent automotive corrosion testing facility in Japan, CC (Corrosion Control Matte Silver), BC (Corrosion Control Matte Grey) and new GM (Gunmetal Corrosion Control) frames outperformed all competitive stainless frames, including 316 Stainless, with Corrosion Control Frames showing no corrosion for 5 times longer than standard stainless steel.
