Assembled with a durable spiral-wrapped grit tape wound onto a tapered fiberglass tube, the all-new CRB Tape Reamers are an economical way to bore out the inner diameter of grips of all type: cork, eva foam, even WinnDry® polymer.
- Hand use only - not recommended for use under power
- 7 distinct bore diameters to cover grips for ultralights all the way up to offshore trolling rods
- Can be used to ream cork, EVA foam, WinnDry® polymer material and more

I have multiple sizes of these and for the price they are absolutely best bang for the buck. With a little bit of work and a couple minutes, you could insert and glue in a bit into the end to be able to use with a drill, making it even better.
These were great and are the cheapest I could find in perfect for a first time Rod builder that doesn’t want to spend a ton of money on Reimers. They are easy to use and doesn’t take much force. Definitely recommend these.
I didn't need to do much, and really didn't want to pay $30 - $75 on a reamer or reamer set. This one, for under $15 did the trick.
Very useful for widening cork grips.
