Had to grind rd own the key that goes in the crb track so they move easier but a nice product
The locking system to the track leaves much to be desired! Once locked in place it is a fight to move them. I have one which will not move! Not a great design feature!
Brand new out of the box the stands were great but the O-rings were badly cracked. I ordered the replacement CRB O-rings and they were badly cracked within 60 days. These are made from the wrong rubber. Black rubber is usually nitrile or neoprene, both of which crack in air from the ozone. Silicone rubber, which is far more durable for this purpose, is usually red or orange. These are available at Grainger or McMaster-Carr.
Look for 1/8" O-rings, 1 5/8" I.D. x 1 7/8" O.D.
First of all these stands are well built. A couple issues that I have ran into is that the t-bolts don't fit the track very well and the rubber washers hang up. T-bolts need to be slightly thinner in order to slide freely in the tracks. When the t-bolts get stuck they tend to create a burr in the slots of the tracks. The rubber washers get hung up and make it time consuming to adjust the roller heights. If these had a Delrin or UHMW washers the things would be awesome.
