Product Details

The CRB PRO Blank Extension Tool Set is a must have for any rod builder who works on multi-piece rods because it solves the most common problems.

Ferrule wraps are now a breeze with the CRB PRO Blank Extension Tool. All you need to do is insert the tool into the rod segment you are working on, set it in your CRB stand, and use it as a sturdy wrapping aid for perfect ferrule wraps every time.

Quality product

This tool is great to use for drying one section at a time or when wrapping close to the end of the rod section.

Must have

Great tool

They slip

I have had nothing but frustration trying to stop these from slipping. I finally used a 3M spray glue which seems to work (let dry first). The good news is that they are aluminum so you can strip glue and reapply when needed. I am happier with the cheap version.

Too slick a finish

Needs a rougher finish. The blank slides when used. I had to rough up the finish with some Emory paper.
