Change the name to Magic bands! After using the first to get the "trick" of it, enjoy these much more than slicing tubing.
I'm only using on CRB blanks right now, but what a treat!
I could not get these on even a small diameter blank ! What a waste of time, patience , and money !
These really aid in holding small micro guides and for test loading a rod for guide spacing. They are a bit of a paint to get a guide under once you roll them on, so I found a plastic flosser very helpful. These are orthodontic bands for braces but stretch enough to be rolled down even a 7wt fly blank.
I use a combination of these micro bands and guide tubing to layout guides. Both are very handy to keep on hand.
I have been using these for quite some time and they are an absolute must when tying on micro guides. Highly recommend!
