Nice blank for the price.

I purchased a 6' light action pink blank for my first rod building for my wife. The blank was straight and I have no issues with the quality. The only negative I have is that the color seems much lighter than the what is shown online. But seems to be a great blank for the price.

Don't Buy

I purchased a pink 6'6" 4-10lb blank, when fitting the handles the pink paint easily scraped off and left several white spots on the blank, luckily enough I was able to extend my wraps to cover them up without making the wraps look way oversized. This blank was more like an 8-15lb not 4-10lb rating, the tip barely bent with a 2oz weight attached.

Color Series Review

I love my Color Series rod builds. What started as a hobby, turned into close to 100 rods in two years. The price and quality are perfect for my builds. The medium-light is the perfect saltwater trout rod and finesse rod for largemouth. I have caught many Texas Snook, Redfish, Trout, Largemouth, and Catfish on the color series.
