The ring Lock Nanolight tips are great for repairs. The flange tip keeps the guide ring from popping out. I’ve been using them for more than 10 years onmy own rods and on custom builds.

Great tips
This tip top was used to repair another broken rod. The 1st 2 inches of the rod was broken. The tip top fit perfectly.
Worked well to bring a broken rod tip back into service, albeit 4" shorter. Nice looking and smooth flowing tip-top.
