Fantastic Program!

We had really no idea what to expect, and in 2 days, my wife and I built 2 complete fishing rods! The programs’ goal is to provide you with takeaway tools and skills that one could use to build a fishing rod specific to your needs. This Mud Hole program provided us with both tools, materials and more hands experience to do just that - more than we anticipated.

Mud Hole’s success on this seminar is directly connected to the qualifications of the instructors. They are absolutely the best. Their knowledge far exceeds what they can teach in a few days and had made themselves available for future insights as needed for their graduate students. Experience in the classroom is obvious. There are plenty of Instructors leading the class so that at any time you needed help, it was right there!

Just because someone is a subject matter expert (like for guide spacing/direction, custom wrapping materials/techniques, tricks of the trade), etc. – does not mean they can teach. Not the case with each one of the instructors! Not only did our educators have vast knowledge, but they also understood how to communicate with each type of student and their skill levels.

The most important and memorable part of this seminar was purely how much fun it was! Primarily due to how the instructors worked with us students, by moderating how much can be done over tow days, but the delivery was so organized that it just made everything so much fun!

THANK YOU MUD HOLE crew for a truly memorable experience.

Beginner rod builder- must do class

My husband & I attended the 10/5 Anaheim class & had the best time! Buzz, Todd, Jesus, Fred, every one, was so knowledgeable & helpful. We left with a great understanding of the basics & everything we needed to continue building rods from home. 10/10 would recommend to any one interested in getting started building their own rods.

Beginner rod building

I attended your class on October 5 & 6 in Anaheim. It was very informative and enjoyed the sessions. I am very happy with the rod I built. Your instructors are very helpful and taught me how to enjoy making a rod from scratch. Looking forward to building a few more.
Thanks
