This blank is relatively light it makes a nice 12 pound test yellowtail Rod could be used with as little as 8 pound test I wouldn't use it for anything over 20
The build I made with this blank was chosen the best over the 2 blanks from 2 other manufactures that I built, (3 rods total) for the action wanted for a 6ft walleye spinning rod.
Bought this blank for a client. It was curved so bad I had to add this to my scrap collection. Had to purchase another one for the client.
Hard to Beat the light power 6' shooter series for crappie.
Have been using Shooter series blanks for years and have never broken one. The CS723-MHX is my go to for skipping 3/8oz jigs.
