Individual Serial Numbers

Once they have passed the quality control stage, each MHX blank is assigned an individual serial number. This assures that every MHX rod you build, fish, buy or sell can be tracked throughout it’s life cycle from end to end with no concern about warranty issues.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Each rod blank can be registered online with its individual serial number by either the custom rod builder or the end user of the rod. When registered, the blanks unique serial number identifies that rod blank to registrant. If the registrant sells or gives the rod blank or finished rod to another person, the warranty can be transferred to the new owner – an industry first.

Love this rod. It handles an ocean down rigger and gives a great action when a king salmon hits. I have made several of these rods and everyone that has them love them when the kings come in.

DR845

Bought 2 of these 7" to use on downrigger, planner and general trolling for blues, stripers and Spanish mackerel in the Chesapeake bay. Since it would be use on a downrigger I decided to do a spiral wrap and tiger wrap and pair them with a Penn 209 level wind. I do not like to use anything over 7' on my 23' ft boat. Rod has a very nice bow, I also use this rod for bottom fishing.

Crooked cork ****

The tip section of this blank is so crooked I can use it to fish around corners.
