Great Way to Start

I bought this to replace a rod guide on my personal rod that had come loose. This was a costly way to learn whether I had the necessary skills. Since then, I have improved my skills and started replacing and rewrapping guides on my club members' rods. I am excited to build my own rod this winter.

Worst thing

The wrapper does not hold the pole very well, the thread is extremely hard to hold tension and often comes loose. The spacing between the supports is not wide enough to clear the guides on casting poles.
