This how to build a custom fishing rod guide has been extremely helpful and is very thorough on everything needed to build a rod from spining your blank, handle assembly, installing the guides, installing the tip and hook keeper, putting on decals and finishing your rod with the paste and epoxy. It tells you all the tools needed and even has key terms for just about everything on Rod building.. overall, this guide has been extremely helpful and definitely recommend for the first time or beginner
