Individual Serial Numbers

Once they have passed the quality control stage, each MHX blank is assigned an individual serial number. This assures that every MHX rod you build, fish, buy or sell can be tracked throughout it’s life cycle from end to end with no concern about warranty issues.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Each rod blank can be registered online with its individual serial number by either the custom rod builder or the end user of the rod. When registered, the blanks unique serial number identifies that rod blank to registrant. If the registrant sells or gives the rod blank or finished rod to another person, the warranty can be transferred to the new owner – an industry first.

Watched a chris vide on surf fishing rod building. Chris Adams stated thar there was a rod kit, called no rod kit.
So I hunted for the recipe, no recipe.
Went back to the YouTube video copied all the part numbers. Tried to order the parts but most were not available.
Very flustered . Appears they have inventory problems. FYI YOU CAN NOT COUNT ON THEM FOR THE ESSENTIAL ITEMS NEEDED.

SU1207F-2-MHX

I built a SU1207F-2-MHX to be used on a trip to Florida for Coastal land based fishing. These blanks are good quality and easy to build. The guides start with a fuji KW 40 rapidly reducing down to size 8 KT runners.

A great surf rod

This is a bigger project than my fly rods. The handle for the surf rod took a lot of work. Everything came together to make a Christmas present for my Son-in-law.

Help, I need the bottom half of a HMX surf blank #SU1207F2MHX

After finding the original vendor could not help me with a replacement I called the phone line for HMX directing me to MUDHOLE CUSTOM TACKLE. My inquiry was replied to by Mark advising the blank half could be supplied readily. On ordering I found the pricing was lower than expected for half of a blank, shipped immediately at a very good shipping price.Took one week to arrive at my door in Canada. So thank you Mark & MUDHOLE.
