I have used these rings on a few builds and they have very little blemishes. The burnt burl rings seem to clog the reamer and creates alot of heat. I broke a full grip when reaming so I remade that one and salvaged the broken grip and turned it into a split grip. I ruined a reamer on those, but all others are good.
