Caught Walleye for sure

The blank itself was sensitive and performed as expected. The only issue I could see when building the rod was the guide feet, when I got towards the tip, we’re wide and deeded to be filed down, as the closer you get to the tip, the diameter obviously gets smaller. Also, the tip top had to be modified to get a tight fit for the tip. Otherwise from those minor issues, the rod worked excellent. Maybe it was the guides I picked out but the ones used were from the ice rod kit. When I got closer to the tip, the flexibility made it harder to hold the guides in place. Since I hand wrap, I just lined up the guides and tacked them with a drop of superglue. I ended up building 4 of these rods for my son to take to North Dakota and he loved them and wants more.

Vline walleye wrecker

Definitely one of the best carbon walleye ice blanks on the market. Ive built several and never had an issue or complaint. Great for jigging small to medium jigging raps and spoons, decent backbone, good sensitivity
