Great Blank! One rod that will do alot.

I have built three of these. One for me and two for friends. They love them and I love mine also. It is a great all purpose rod. Now we all know that one rod won't do everything but this one will do alot. I fish big perch, and crappie and gills in Nebraska and South Dakota. It's a great rod for using 1/4oz spoons or less or similar weight verticle jigging wrap. The only thing i do not do with this rod is drop light jigs. 4mm or 5mm jigs for me feel to light and this rod has enough backbone that I would prefer a lighter rod if I needed to jig those types of baits. If you use spoons and jigging raps or Tikka minnows this is a great rod for those types of applications. I use it as a dead stick also at times with a bait running spinning reel. Will absolutely handle walleye and medium size pike.

Great blank!

I decided on this blank for a walleye rod build. Just finished wrapping the guides in Neon Yellow and wow! Does the color ever stand out.
