U-40 Brush Cleaner Solvent (4 oz.)
Product Details
Designed for cleaning brushes used in the application of U-40 rod finishes.
Equally effective on all polymers; urethanes or epoxies, before they are cured. It will not effect the cured polymers of either group.
Excellent for cleaning dirty rods or for wiping rod blanks prior to wrapping the windings and decorative wraps.
Brushes can be dipped in Brush Cleaner, then squeezed dry onto a paper towel. If desired, brushes may be left standing in the solvent.

Good product
U40 Brush Cleaner Solvent (4 oz.)
I used the U40 Brush Cleaner with the Sable Brushes and U40 Perma Gloss with great results.
I tried using the U40 Perma Gloss with the plastic disposable brushes. I really like the U40 Perma Gloss, but realized I would need better brushes for the results I was looking for. I purchased the 4 pack of sable brushes, and absolutely love the results. The U40 brush cleaner works incredibly well to clean the brushes after use. Reusing brushes creates less waste, ultimately saves money, and U40 is made by Trondak Inc. in Monroe Wa. just a few miles from where I live. local company, bonus!
The rod I tried it on is a 2 piece 3wt blank from PacBay. It is an old rebuild that I rebuilt for next trout season.
