It’s nice to have multiple extras of these to have your rods being worked on or near finished rods on display or out-of-the-way. Nice and sturdy and you could also buy replacement felt if needed
I use these supports when I’m working on a rod to get the rod up off my work bench. To give me more room on my bench for other components. They work quite well for what I need.
