Shimano Tallus Ring Guide Slick Butt Trolling Rod

Offshore Strength, Lasting Comfort

The Shimano Tallus Ring Guide Slick Butt Trolling Rod is designed for demanding offshore fishing applications where strength, comfort, and dependable performance are essential. Built with Shimano's lightweight TC4 blank construction, this rod helps reduce the physical strain of handling heavy tackle and battling powerful gamefish. Its slightly slower action allows the blank to bend more progressively under load, helping anglers apply steady pressure while minimizing fatigue during extended fights. Featuring a conventional ring-guide configuration rather than roller guides, the Tallus offers a versatile setup for targeting tuna, swordfish, grouper, and other large saltwater species. With its slick butt design and angler-focused construction, this rod is well suited for offshore anglers looking for reliable performance when taking on hard-fighting fish.
