Using two grips together to make a long forgrip

I made a grinder rod using two of these and to make the seamless joint between the two I cut off about 1/4 inch from one side on each grip and slid them into the rod with the two cut edges facing each other. After I slid them in place I cleaned the joint between the two pieces with acetone and it worked well. I inserted a dowel into the grip and cut off 1/4 inch with the chop saw. Made a great clean cut and the joint came out perfectly
