These are my favorite guides for dropshot spinning rod builds. They are incredibly lightweight and durable. I typically use them with light braid 8-15lb/ fluoro leader 6-8lb and have not had any issues with grooving in the guides. Highly recommend these paired with the recoil micro running guides on builds where you want increased sensitivity and reduced weight.
Another tip the #6 spinning guide works perfectly as a running guide for casting rod builds.
