Item works OK, but they need to be resized to fit the slope of the blank.

Not a good application. I was trying to make a full length blank into three piece. I needed a stepped ferrule instead.
I bought a one piece rod that was just too long to stow in my boat. Bought the ferrule and installed it. Easy to do and works great
