The new RDS units offers Rod Builders a durable, easy to use drying unit that is perfect for novice and professionals. Plus a price point unheard of in the industry without sacrificing functionality. Each unit features either a 9 or 18 RPM Drying motor with 6' cord, form fitting chuck and one Dryer Support Stand.
Please note- Due to the variation of 220V Outlets we ship the RDS International 220V without a plug attached.

This is an essential tool for rod building. It is easy to use, and assemble.
While epoxying the first rod I've used the dryer with, the motor burnt out causing my epoxy to not dry correctly.
I’ve seen some negative reviews about this rod dryer from CRB, but I don’t understand why. I’ve had mine for a decade and it works well! It’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and does what it should. Great value for the price.
Seems like I'm 50/50 for buying CRB products and ending up with garbage. 2.5 rods later the motor shaft has developed wobble (not the chuck, the actual motor shaft). I need to learn my lesson. The grip reamer didn't make it one grip before breaking, so I guess this did slightly better.
A rod dryer is pretty much a must needed item or else you’re gonna be sitting there turning the rod by hand for a long time. It’s just much easier to have this and have your rod in it and turned on then you could go on with your day. Spins pretty consistently And only wobbled a little bit, but with a little bit of tape around the shaft it tighten that write up which is not a big deal and pretty easy to do. Great dryer overall
