ProPaste will stay where you put it, alleviating the mess associated with liquid adhesives. Use it to bond cork and synthetic handles, metal and graphite reel seats, ferrules, butt caps, hosels, cork rings and just about any other material used in rod building and fishing rod repair. Pretty much what I started with when I started building over 10 years ago. Not only has any build fail over the years (a few hundred rods), but any handles I’ve installed I have not been able to remove (when I wanted and tried to). I have seen the resin harden in the jar, but a quick heat in the microwave and its as good as new (it was actually a brand new jar that I had to soften once).
Always been simple & easy to use, works great for me
It does take a while to cure, so if you dont need the flexibility of readjusting your components to get them just right or are in a hurry, there is a fast curing version
