This is my go to bass rod for distance. . Casts like a dream.
I have used several of these kits! This is for a commission for a dear friend that loves to fish for RED DRUM on the coast of NC. I have and use this rod, and been successful catching fish. The sensitivity is great paired with a 2500 series reel and 10lb braid. +
Blank and components came in faster than expected with zero issues. No damage. The rod is built but she hasn’t had a chance to use it yet. It should work like a dream, so far she is very happy and excited about it.
Esthetically beautiful blank. Most importantly, specs are on point!
Built two of the SJ843 kits for friends Joe and Matt. Both were fun builds and I added personalized decals. On the Blue Met I used white met thread which I expected to become somewhat translucent. It gave the rod a unique look. Enjoyed both.
