The S842 MHX Spinning series incorporates innovative designs of both traditional and progressive actions. The multi modulus materials allow us to utilize the correct material in each portion of the blank. This fast action, light power blank is the ideal all around rod for crappie, rainbow trout, panfish and even bass plus with the extra length, it is perfect for open water fishing. This rod has a faster actions than its smaller cousins and can expand into some twitch baits like rapalas, soft plastics or stick with the proven beetlespins, roadrunners and small spec jigs. Plus, they are an absolute blast to fish!

The ELITE guides feature a thinner profile ring with an ultra-smooth bezel resulting in lighter weight, and superior performance capable of taming the most aggressive braided lines.

Get kit to make for anyone.
I built if for my daughter but I ended up keeping it and buying another because I liked it so much. Very easy build, no instructions but you can take a look at the videos on the site if you need to. Very happy with the rod.
