The Megabass PopMax Topwater combines the splash and sound of a traditional popper with a dynamic roll-walking action for a versatile surface presentation. Based on a hand-carved Yuki Ito design, the PopMax features Megabass' unique gill system with six water intakes and an internal chamber that redirects water to create chugging action, surface disturbance, and lifelike bubbles. Water pressure through the lower chamber also helps keep the lure from skipping across the surface during faster retrieves. Fish it with traditional popping movements or use gentler rod-tip action to produce a side-to-side roll-walk. The floating PopMax measures 3 1/4 inches, weighs 1/2 ounce, and comes equipped with #4 hooks.
