Good Epoxy

I like this epoxy for guides and topcoats. Make sure to let it fully cure for 2-3 days before touching it.

Less working time

Used Flex Coat for the first time…has a shorter working time than my last brand so not the best choice for slow workers. It does cure faster though so it needs less time rotating. It’s clear with almost no bubbles. Not the best for the store in freezer overnight method to use the same mixed batch the next day.

Still the Best, hands down!

I have tried most every product out there and kept coming back to this one! I have been doing this for over 40 years and believe me when I say that you will not be disappointed! I always use high build and do two thin coats. I always purchase the 4 oz. with the Yorker caps, cut them both equal, put equal number of drops in a plastic mixing cup and mix slowly to reduce bubbles. Pour the mixture onto aluminum foil, blow the remaining bubbles out with a straw before applying in a slow back and forth movement. While the rod is drying I will apply a flame to the coating to remove any bubbles that are left. This coating never yellows or cracks, even after 20+ years. I hope this is helpful information to people.
