In this new book Billy shares his knowledge, experience and passion for wrapping custom patterns, with over 100 unique patterns with images & instructions.
Billy explores and instructs the reader in the use of Visual Wrap software, a computer-aided design and layout software program also available from Mud Hole.
Topics covered in the book are thread, color preservers, gradient (fading) wraps, set-up, keeping track of your work, thread packing, tying off your wraps, epoxy, Visual Wrap software and much more. B&W, 82 pages.
Overpriced for what you get. I felt a lot of the information was hard to interpret and the discussions on the software, which is not included, were not relevant if you’re not using it. I found it not very user friendly.
Book is a great resource. However would be better if it was in color and not in black and white. If it was in color you probably would be able to better see the the color transitions as you apply the thread work.
Dont feel as its very well ritten with very little in fo on most wrapos not worth the forty bucks
I’m 65 years old and if you really read and study this book you can learn how to calculate how much threads for a pattern that can fit on your blanks. I learned how to do chevron wraps to more advance wraps. Get this book it’s a must!
