I bought the size 16 reel seat which weighs 19.5 grams. Not the lightest seat but also well made and looks like it will stand up to kid usage no problems. The black is gloss, but not a high shine gloss. Almost in-between satin and gloss.

These are inexpensive and work great for ice rods.
I bought these and put them on pink fishing rods I am making for my two young grand daughters, they look nice.
