These rubber gimbals have been designed for comfort and performance. Excellent for your Vertical Jigging rods, with no sharp edges and utilizing a softer rubber material you can put these on rods that you would not normally put a gimbal on. Excellent for counter balance as the 16 mm weighs 1-1/4 oz. and the 23 mm weighs in at 1 oz.

Doesn’t kill your hip
I bought both sizes of this gimbal to add to an existing custom rod. This is a simple item, but I have no complaints - the rubber is stiff enough that I am not worried about excessive give in the rod holder when trolling, but its also flexible enough that it wasn't too difficult to add to the rod butt.
