Butt Wrap Alignment Tool

Product Details

The Butt Wrap Alignment Tool streamlines the process of laying out and aligning even the most complex decorative wraps! The V-notch base cradles and centers the blank perfectly while the attached aluminum straight edge allows builders to line up the crosses of butt-wraps on any axis. In addition, a built-in sightline through the base allows for a perfect 180 degree view to accurately mark your rod blank. Molded rubber feet on the bottom and back of the base provide a steady, non-slip grip on your workbench while rotating the alignment tool.

Whether you are an expert doing intricate wraps or a novice trying your first diamond wrap the CRB-BWAT will help take your decorative work to the next level.

Concept is great but needs “tweaking”

Love the idea and the set up but it has its flaws. As it’s been pointed out… the metric side is missing a mm hash-mark between 0 and 1. The screws are difficult to adjust as the springs have to get pretty tight to hold a smaller blank down tight enough to roll it over for the 180° window to be used. Need to find something other than a Sharpie to make my marks since the metals ruler makes the Sharpie ink “run” on the blank.

Works pretty well

Did old school with a string before. Seems simpler but I did notice the smaller ultra light rods don’t fit tight when the measuring tool is lowered. Overall a big difference from the old school method. Maybe make the V notch not as deep for smaller rods.

Much better then old model

I have only used it once so far and it is much better then the old model.
