I love these blanks. Replaced most of my other rods with bushidos.
I'm new to custom rod building, having retired & full time RV-ing, I was looking for a hobby to occupy my time. Wow! Since getting into rod building i have fellow campers bring me hand fulls of fishing rods in need of repairs. Sure wish I had stated this new hobby years ago.

Finished off this minimalistic blacked out MB73, 2 piece for texas inshore fishing. Feels like a winner!
Great blank
I've built a few personal crankbait and swimbait rod on these blanks but I got this white 7'2" to build a surprise for my best friend and wrapping the next to last guide i noticed what looked like a small scratch. I knew I didn't do it so I flexed it up a little to see if the paint would chip or anything and it just popped like a twig. Waiting on mudhole customer service to hit me back. I hope this is a fluke deal. I can salvage the build, it's gonna change the action being I lost 5" but I've got a ton of marbling, custom grip and butt cap I made. Mudhole as usual made it right and made me happy. Outstanding customer service!
