The AFTCO Unibutt® is the legendary one-piece handle and reel seat system that revolutionized offshore trolling rods. Formed from the finest marine alloy using AFTCO’s unique swaging process, the Unibutt® delivers unmatched strength, precision, and durability in a lightweight design.
By unitizing the butt and reel seat into one piece, the Unibutt® ensures permanent alignment of the gimbal, reel, and guides. This guarantees that your tackle tracks perfectly under load. Precision-machined ferrules allow easy interchangeability of rod tip sections, while an O-ring seal prevents corrosion between ferrule and reel seat. A Teflon® ring inside the collet nut provides a snug fit, prevents galling, and allows easy nut removal.
Available in a variety of anodized finishes, the AFTCO Unibutt® is the gold standard for offshore trolling and big-game rod construction.
