Each kit includes mixing and application instructions, and the smaller kits (2-8 oz.) also include a set of free 3cc color-coded syringes and yorker caps. The base resin and hardening components are provided in equal amounts, and are mixed in a simple 1:1 ratio. Just changed to Gen4, I hope it does better. This yellowed very quick on 2 white blanks I built on and these were technique specific rods so I just went to grab them out of my rod room which is in my house. These rods haven't been on my boat but 3 or 4 hrs testing after I built them and then taken to my rod room for 6 months. Can't imagine how they'd look if they'd been on my deck every week.
Built a 9’ surf/jetty rod with double foot guides. The finish started to thicken significantly before I finished. Going over the wraps with an alcohol lamp afterwards did break what few bubbles there were but it left little craters where they were. All this at 74 F in my basement. Yeah, I know I’m old and slow. Bought two 4 ounce, low build kits the next day. The finish did look good though.
Easy to work with and great results
Thread coat worked good did sag when I got it too hot with heat gun.
