I just built these 2 rods using Mudhole components. Should make great Christmas gifts!!
I built one of these about 3 years ago and I really like it. I cut it down to a 5' rod and it makes a great trout rod. It has plenty of backbone for bigger fish and is finesse enough for small streams as well. I get alot of positive comments on it from other fisherman because you don't see alot of these around. I am planning to build 2 more for my boys for Christmas this year !
