CFX Composite Carbon Fiber Grips - Rear Spinning Grip

Product Details

These are full-length traditional rear grips for spinning rods, featuring ergonomic contouring and rear tenon. Easily mount American Tackle AERO size 16 spinning seat on one end and either an ECC-22 or SPG fighting butt on the other.

CFX Carbon Fiber Composite Grips

CFX grips begin with a proprietary carbon infused core material. It is the weight of traditional 4 lb urethane foam but has the density and strength of 7 lb. It is stronger, lighter, and more dense than any grip material available. What this means to you is the ultimate in energy transmission, far superior to cork, EVA, hypalon or other carbon fiber grips.

CFX grips have a buffed matte finish that is comfortable, easy to grip, and impervious to UV breakdown. The end result is a beautiful grip that is lighter and more sensitive than any rubber based handle, translating to more bites felt, more hook sets and more fish in front of the camera.

Rear good looking grips!

I pit these grips these grips on 4 freshwater spinning rods whose Winn AR grips were worn out. I just cut off the existing Winn AR grips and slid these into place. Since some of the rods had small blank diameters, I had to use some fiberglass drywall tape to ensure they fit snugly. You have to be really careful otherwise you will definitely over ream them. Once they were glued on, I let them dry for a couple of days and then coated then with 1 coat of Permagloss. Let them dry for a couple of days to seal them good. They turned out beautiful!

Second handle made.

Second time using for build. Customer wanted a lightly weathered pink look, spray painted pink and uses scotchbrite pad to weather.
