Fragile- Mudhole backed it though

Broke 3 of the travel blanks on a trip to Brazil fishing peacocks. All 3 broke while casting under no particular strain. 2/3 broke on the male end of the ferrule. I had 3 other travel rods with me that had no issues. The 844, 905, and 906 all broke within minutes/ an hour of use at most. Mudhole gave me credit for new blanks and didn't restrict it to the travel blanks, which I appreciated as I definitely will not be building on these again.

Structurally Unsound

I had a pole made with this blank so I could take it Musky fishing. It looks great, but the description is misleading. The first time I had a bite when trolling, the middle section broke. After Mudhole sent a brand-new section and that part of the rod was rebuilt, the butt section snapped when I tugged on a weed. Musky (and Pike) are big vicious fish with bony mouths, which means you have to set the hook hard. My beautiful rod is going in the trash because I will not trust it ever again, even if it was rebuilt. It did cast fine, and I did get a 28" Musky, but that's a small one compared with what I could have caught. Would not recommend for Musky fishing, but I have no clue as to Tarpon, Swordfish, etc.
