Excellent rods
Wish it had came with a tip protector
If your looking for a blank to build high quality rods with tons of sensitivity and durability this is the blank for you you will never make a bass rod with anything els
Love the rod feel and look, the end was a little frayed (fat end) but that could have been from when they cut the rod to length, (fixed with masking tape and being used in the arbor section
I like this blank. Ribbed as mentioned below. I think it’s a little under-powered compared to the lure rating. We know how subjective this can be. I haven’t tested IP/ERN yet but I’m guessing it falls into the medium light for me. When I say that, I think it’s close to the MHX 842, Northfork 702, Bushido 4-10# DS. It a 1/8-3/16oz blank for me.
